Why do people get so defensive and attacking when ever some one raises questions regarding the logical sense of homosexuality?

Answer by Jim Ashby:

I don't see a lot of attacking but I do see a lot of intolerance of intolerance. Simply put, the sexual preference of others is none of your business. Period. This fact is so transparently obvious that one has to be willfully obtuse to ignore it.

In the U.S., when it comes to willfully obtuse people who ignore the obvious, there's an increased probability those people are religious fundamentalists: ignoring the obvious goes with the territory.

Which is why religion leads the way in attempts to legislate sexual preference. Religious busy-bodies just won't give up the ghost. It's a nuisance that the rest of us are getting sick and tired of. So if we seem intolerant of your intolerance . . . get a clue, for Christ's sake!
